Year 6 Teacher
Job description
Year 6 Supply Teacher - 0.8, long-term role teaching Tuesday to Friday until the end of the Academic year in July 2026.

Duties as Supply Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and well-planned lessons to a Year 6 class.
- Follow existing planning and contribute to marking and assessment.
- Maintain a calm, focused, and encouraging classroom environment.
- Support pupils’ understanding through clear explanations and consistent routines.
- Work collaboratively with staff to ensure continuity for the class.
- Uphold safeguarding expectations at all times.
Ideal Supply Teacher:
- QTS with experience in upper KS2.
- Confident in delivering the KS2 curriculum and supporting end-of-key-stage expectations.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Able to follow existing planning while adapting to pupil needs.
- Reliable, organised, and committed to high-quality teaching.
