We are working with a high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in Enfield that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. Role Details:
Job Title: English Teacher

Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (potential for permanent)
Key Stages: KS3 & KS4
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons across KS3 and KS4
Mark and assess work, providing constructive feedback to support development
Contribute to the wider English department and school life
Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement
Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge and passion for English literature and language
Experience teaching in a UK secondary school (including placements if ECT)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all students
