Step Teachers are in need of a committed and keen EYFS Teacher for supply role which might potentially be extended. In the role of a EYFS Teacher, you will have a crucial part in guaranteeing uninterrupted education and fostering a constructive learning atmosphere for students when their usual teachers are not present. The position is scheduled to start immediately or November 2024
Key Responsibilities as a EYFS Teacher:
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans effectively to facilitate student learning.
- Maintaining classroom discipline and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Adhering to school policies and procedures.
- Providing constructive feedback to regular teaching staff on students' progress.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the school day.
- ideally planning but not essential - aware would seek pay scale if planning and LT - but doesn’t know how long the booking will be for.
Requirements to be a EYFS Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Recent experience as a Nursery School Teacher or an EYFS Teacher.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different schools and year groups.
- Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to undergo checks.
