General Science Teacher
Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic General Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking and supportive secondary school environment. We are seeking a passionate educator committed to inspiring young minds and raising standards in science education across Key Stages 3 and 4. Beginning June 2025.
Duties as a General Science Teacher:
Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in biology, chemistry, and physics.
Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
Contribute to the wider life of the science department and school community.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement.
Ideal General Science Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in a science-related subject.
Experience teaching science at KS3 and KS4.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a General Science Teacher.
A commitment to continuous professional development.
