General Science Teacher
Job description
Step Teachers are seeking General Science Teachers to join a pool of supply staff across Cornwall, starting as soon as possible.
This is a great opportunity for qualified Science Teachers looking for flexible work across a variety of secondary schools. You’ll be teaching KS3 and KS4 Science, ensuring lessons are engaging, inclusive, and effectively delivered.
Duties as a General Science Teacher:
Deliver engaging Science lessons following pre-prepared plans
Support students’ learning and understanding across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Provide feedback to the department on student progress and engagement
Follow school policies and ensure safeguarding standards are upheld
Ideal General Science Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching General Science at the secondary level
Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a General Science Teacher.
