Position: Health and Social Care Teacher

Location: Enfield

Type: Permanent

Step Teachers are working with a school looking for a qualified Health and Social Care teacher who is enthusiastic about educating the next generation of health and social care professionals. As a Health and Social Care teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lessons that cover various aspects of Health and Social Care.

Key Responsibilities of a Health and Social Care Teacher:

  • Teach Health and Social Care courses to a diverse group of students.
  • Develop curriculum materials related to Health and Social Care.
  • Provide support and guidance to students pursuing careers in Health and Social Care.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in Health and Social Care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Health and Social Care program.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of Health and Social Care.
  • Promote Health and Social Care education within the school community.
  • As a Health and Social Care Teacher, you are responsible for planning and implementing high-quality lessons for KS4 and KS5 students.

Qualifications of Health and Social Care Teacher:

  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • The ability to teach Health and Social Care at an A-Level standard.
  • A degree in Health and Social Care or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience in Health and Social Care.
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Social Care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Passion for inspiring students to pursue careers in Health and Social Care.
