An exciting opportunity to join a ‘Good’ school in Hoddesdon has arisen, as they seek to appoint a history teacher to start at the beginning of April 2019. The role of this history teacher is a maternity cover contract, which can lead to a permanent post.

The ideal Candidate;

• Holds QTS or QTLS, with recent experience of teaching the UK Curriculum for History at Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four. NQTs are also welcome to apply.
• Experience of Teaching A-Level History is not necessary but would be advantageous.
• Your classroom management strategies will be robust and adaptable and seen as central to the progress of your students.
• You will be able to plan as part of a team, use progress tracking to inform this and deliver creative, effective lessons.
