Job description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join primary schools in the Thetford area. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to Key Stage 1 pupils, fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. Beginning ASAP.

Duties as KS1 Teacher:

Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN or additional support needs.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to support achievement.
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and participate in whole-school initiatives.
Engage with parents and carers to support pupil development and wellbeing.

Ideal KS1 Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in KS1 is desirable, though motivated ECTs are welcome.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as a KS1 Teacher.
Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
