KS2 Teacher
Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed educator who is passionate about inspiring young learners and making a positive difference in the classroom. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:
Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and well-structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and support individual needs.
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance pupil learning and wellbeing.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities, school events, and staff development.
Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (EYFS/KS1 experience is welcome but not essential).
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
High expectations of pupil behaviour and achievement.
Excellent communication and organisational skills as a KS2 Teacher.
A commitment to continuous professional development and teamwork.
