Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed educator who is passionate about inspiring young learners and making a positive difference in the classroom. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:

 

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and well-structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum.

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and support individual needs.

  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance pupil learning and wellbeing.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities, school events, and staff development.

Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (EYFS/KS1 experience is welcome but not essential).

  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.

  • High expectations of pupil behaviour and achievement.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills as a KS2 Teacher.

  • A commitment to continuous professional development and teamwork.
