KS2 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting April 2026

Duties as KS2 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons aligned with curriculum expectations
  • Support pupils in developing core literacy, numeracy, and wider subject skills
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide clear feedback
  • Adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs
  • Maintain positive behaviour and consistent routines
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver cohesive learning experiences
  • Contribute to planning, assessment, and wider school initiatives
  • Uphold safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal KS2 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching KS2
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate pupils of varying abilities
  • Good organisational and communication abilities
  • Reflective, proactive, and dedicated to supporting pupil progress
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
