KS2 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting April 2026

Duties as KS2 Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons aligned with curriculum expectations
Support pupils in developing core literacy, numeracy, and wider subject skills
Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide clear feedback
Adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs
Maintain positive behaviour and consistent routines
Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver cohesive learning experiences
Contribute to planning, assessment, and wider school initiatives
Uphold safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal KS2 Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching KS2
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to inspire and motivate pupils of varying abilities
Good organisational and communication abilities
Reflective, proactive, and dedicated to supporting pupil progress
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
