Music Teacher
Job description
We are looking for a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive teaching team. This is a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated musician and educator to inspire students across KS3 and KS4, nurturing both skill and a lifelong appreciation for music. Starting September 2025.
Duties as Music Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality music lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is welcomed)
Foster students’ practical and theoretical understanding of music through a range of styles and instruments
Lead or contribute to extracurricular activities such as choirs, bands, or school productions
Assess, monitor and support student progress through effective feedback
Contribute to the development of the music curriculum and performance opportunities
Ideal Music Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Music or a closely related field
Strong knowledge of music theory, composition, and performance
Proficiency in at least one instrument and experience with music technology
Enthusiasm, creativity, and excellent classroom management skills as a Music Teacher.
