Step Teachers currently have an opportunity for a Nursery Assistant based at a North London school upholding ‘Good’ status. This is a long term supply position working with early years on a fulltime basis, commencing in January 2019.

The Nursery has asked for a proficient Assistant who has the following attributes:

  • Either a CACHE level 2 or higher with experience of working in an Early Years setting.
  • Experience of teaching Phonics is also advantageous.
  • To make full use of the updated Early Years curriculum to deliver effective learning strategies.
  • Your schemes of work will be creative, varied and flexible enough to promote differentiation.

This is a fantastic nursery that we have worked with regularly for the last few years. Our supply staff has always spoken fondly of the centre, staff, and children. It is a friendly, caring school with high expectations for all of the pupils. Teachers encourage the children to explore, discover and question through a range of exciting learning opportunities, within and outside the classroom. The staff aim to provide a calm and stimulating environment where good behavior and mutual respect is modelled by everyone and everyone is valued.
