Nursery Nurse

This nursery is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join an Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children are supported in their early development and learning. Starting ASAP.

Duties as Nursery Nurse:

• Supporting children aged 2–4 in their early development, play and learning

• Creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment

• Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework

• Observing and assessing children’s progress and maintaining accurate records

• Building strong relationships with children, families and colleagues

• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

Ideal Nursery Nurse:

• A relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)

• Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting

• A caring and patient approach with excellent communication skills as a Nursery Nurse.

• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

• A team player with a commitment to safeguarding and child development
