Immediate Start School-Based Experience Required

A welcoming and well-established secondary school in Enfield is seeking a skilled and efficient Office Manager to lead its administrative team. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to support the smooth and successful running of a vibrant school environment.

Role Overview:

  • Job Title: Office Manager

  • Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (potential to become permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the school office

  • Lead and support a team of administrative staff

  • Act as the main point of contact for visitors, parents, and external stakeholders

  • Manage school communications, record-keeping, and data systems

  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and GDPR policies

  • Support with HR administration, recruitment, and onboarding processes

  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the office runs efficiently and effectively

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must have prior experience working in a school office environment – this is essential

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Proficiency in using school MIS systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor) and Microsoft Office

  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

  • A positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to supporting school operations
