​Step Teachers are looking to find a Reception Teacher to teach in a small infant and nursery school based in Thetford. This is a long-term contract role, starting in September and will lead to further opportunities with Step Teachers.

The school is a happy and calm place that makes a stimulating environment for its pupils.

Role:

• Strong Early Years and KS1 curriculum knowledge

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed

• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

• Ability to assess and report on your students when required

• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement effectively

Requirements:

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching Reception

• Relevant subject specific degree is desirable

Hours of work:

This will be full-time until February and then will reduce down to 2 days a week on Thursdays and Fridays.
