Religious Studies Teacher
Job description
We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to join a committed humanities team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to help students explore diverse beliefs, moral questions, and cultural understanding in a respectful and engaging environment. Duties as a Religious Studies Teacher:
Plan and deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4
Promote thoughtful discussion, critical thinking, and an inclusive classroom culture
Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress through regular feedback and effective differentiation
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within the department
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support pupils' academic and personal development
Ideal Religious Studies Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related field
A strong understanding of world religions, ethics, and contemporary moral issues
A commitment to inclusive education and respect for diverse perspectives
Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a Religious Studies Teacher.
A passion for engaging students with meaningful and reflective learning experiences
