SEND KS3 Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary cover from November 2025 (Monday to Thursday)

This is a rewarding opportunity for a SEND KS3 Teacher to join a school where pupils are truly known, understood and nurtured. Duties as SEND KS3 Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for KS3 pupils with SEND
  • Support pupils in developing independence and emotional understanding
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet individual learning needs
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
  • Promote positive behaviour and communication strategies
  • Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities

Ideal SEND KS3 Teacher:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has proven experience working with SEND pupils at KS3 level
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices
  • Skilled in managing behaviour and supporting emotional development
  • Committed to creating a nurturing and safe learning environment
  • Enthusiastic about contributing to school life beyond the classroom
