Job description
As Oxfordshire leading supply teaching agency, Class Act Teaching Services is working with a Special School near Reading who are looking for a SEND Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This role is a permanent, full time vacancy and the school are looking for an SEND Teacher who has experience working with profound and multiple learning difficulties and designing lessons to best support the students.
SEND Teacher Role:
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum and the ability to adapt this is the needs of each individual
- Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
- Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, throughout the school and external professionals
- Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students, as well as being able to adapt to each student
- Able to plan and deliver engaging and dynamic lessons
- Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively
SEND Teacher Requirements:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
- Recent school-based experience teaching student with SEND
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
- Confidence in planning and adapting lessons tailored to the students in your class
