SEND Teacher – Full-time, long-term position starting January 2026

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed SEND Teacher to join a school that provides a highly nurturing and inclusive environment. Duties as SEND Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with SEND needs
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning requirements
  • Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to whole-school initiatives
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding at all times

Ideal SEND Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Proven experience teaching pupils with SEND needs
  • Strong understanding of strategies for supporting diverse learning needs
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities
  • Commitment to professional development and safeguarding practices
