We are seeking a confident and adaptable Supply Teacher / General Cover Teacher to provide regular work at a secondary school in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher interested in a flexible schedule to work around your other goals and commitments.
Offering day-to-day supply as well as short-term placements.

Role: Supply Teacher / General Cover Teacher in Manchester high schools.
Start: ASAP
Contract: Day-to-day & short term cover opportunities.
Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm.
Pay: Up to £180/day DOE (paid PAYE)
Equal pay to perm staff in same role from 13th week of a long term role.

Duties as a Supply Teacher:

• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Willing and able to cover a variety of subjects, not just your specialism
• Adapt plans where needed to meet the needs of all learners.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Provide support for students’ learning and wellbeing.
• Assist with general school duties when required.

Ideal background:

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Confidence in teaching across different subjects and age groups.
• Ability to adapt quickly and use initiative.
• A positive, professional, and reliable approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.

What we need from you:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• An up-to-date CV with 10-year work history.
• Proof of Right to Work, ID & Address in the UK.
• Valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one).
• of 2 professional references covering the last 2 years.
• Overseas police check (if applicable).
• A positive, punctual, patient and professional approach is a must!
