Step teachers are a large educational recruitment agency working with secondary schools across North London. We are exceptionally busy placing day-to-day, long-term, and permanent teachers into schools and academies and are looking for more supply teachers to join our team.

As a successful agency operating and placing supply teachers into schools since 2000 we have established long-standing relationships with secondary schools, academies, and MAT’s across North London.

Role:

Strong curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4

Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed

Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

Ability to assess and report on your students when required

Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or the equivalent of

  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching

  • Relevant subject-specific degree is desirable
