A great opportunity has arisen for us to recruit a talented TA/LSA for one of our prestigious partner schools based in Stevenage. This position of TA/LSA is offered through Step Teachers and will commence ASAP for the right person. The role of a TA/LSA does have the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

As an LSA you will comply with the following;

• Effective target setting for children and an understanding of personalised learning are key competencies for this position.
• The successful LSA candidate will hold positive values and attitudes and adopt high standards of behaviour in their professional role.
• You will need confidence and a positive ‘can-do attitude and philosophy and have had experience working as an LSA across a range of ages.
• You will have a good understanding of Special Educational Needs and Educational Inclusion, and the needs of the more able and talented.
