This recently expanded school is offering an exciting opportunity as a Year 1 class teacher. The role of Year 1 class teacher is available from April and is a temporary position to begin with. The school have said that the right Year 1 teacher will have the opportunity to access a permanent role.

The role of a Year 1 class teacher requires the following;

• You should understand the value of target setting as an aid to raising standards and improving attainment and achievement.
• You will be required to use progress data on pupil performance to inform teaching and learning and improve student performance and attainment
• You should have a teaching qualification suitable for primary education and preferably experience teaching Year 1.
• Applications are welcome from experienced primary teachers of either Key Stage who can demonstrate recent and positive references.
