Year 2/3 Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2/3 Class Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive team at this vibrant school. This is a wonderful opportunity to teach a mixed-age class and guide pupils through the transition between Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a nurturing, well-resourced environment. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Year 2/3 Teacher:
Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of Year 2 and Year 3 pupils.
Use formative and summative assessment to track progress and plan next steps in learning.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Work effectively with teaching assistants, parents, and colleagues to support each child’s development.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events, clubs and enrichment activities.
Ideal Year 2/3 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
A sound understanding of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curricula.
Excellent communication and organisational skills as a Year 2/3 Teacher.
A nurturing approach and strong behaviour management strategies.
