A really nice primary school has enlisted Step Teachers to employ a Year 5 teacher amidst their cohort. The opportunity is placed in Enfield and the successful Year 5 teacher must present themselves with integrity, vigour and creativity. The position as a Year 5 teacher you will begin in April and work initially on a temporary contract.

The successful Year 5 primary teacher will possess the attributes below;

• Personalised Learning and specifically Assessment for Learning (AfL) as part of the teaching and learning tool kit should be central to your teaching practice.
• You should have a range of robust effective behaviour management strategies that can be employed in the classroom.
• A comprehensive working knowledge of learning styles and how to incorporate Visual, Auditory and Kinaesthetic (VAK) learning opportunities into lesson planning/delivery would be a considerable asset in this role.
• Establish good relationships, encourage good working practices and support and lead teachers in the phase group.
