​A local, two-form entry Primary School in Plymouth has been in touch and are currently looking to fill a full time, permanent Year 6 Teacher post to start in September 2022. This role is a full-time post and will come with additional planning and marking responsibilities. You will also have access to a wide range of CPD training sessions through additional staff meetings. This role is available to both ECT’s and teachers that are further into their careers.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be able to show an outstanding understanding of the Year 6 Curriculum, and show clear evidence of extending all pupils to the best of their academic abilities.

• Have the ability to develop positive, professional relationships with the pupils to ensure that each child is working to the best of their ability.

• Make a great use of assessment strategies, including formative and summative methods.

• Have a strong, clear and positive approach towards behavioural management.

Salary – MPS 1-6
