Chemistry Teacher
Job description
This school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join their forward-thinking Science department. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an early career teacher, this is a fantastic opportunity to teach Chemistry in a supportive, high-achieving environment. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Chemistry Teacher:
Deliver engaging and well-structured Chemistry lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4
Foster a love for science through practical investigations and conceptual learning
Support student achievement through effective assessment, feedback, and intervention
Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental improvement, and extracurricular activities
Promote student progress and confidence in preparation for GCSE and/or A-Level Chemistry
Ideal Chemistry Teacher:
A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a specialism in Chemistry or a related discipline
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for making Chemistry exciting and relevant
High expectations of student behaviour, effort, and achievement
Ability to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a Chemistry Teacher.
