Job description

Step Teachers are looking for Early Years Practitioners to join our pool of daily supply staff for nurseries and early years settings in and around Tavistock, starting as soon as possible.

This is a great opportunity for experienced and qualified practitioners seeking flexible day-to-day work in supportive and welcoming early years environments.

Duties as Early Years Practitioners:

 

  • Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities

  • Maintain a safe, caring, and engaging environment

  • Follow daily routines and support with meal, toileting, and transition times

  • Work collaboratively with staff to ensure high standards of care and education

Ideal Early Years Practitioners:

 

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (preferred)

  • Experience working with young children

  • A caring, flexible, and reliable approach as an Early Years Practitioner.
