Job Description:

Step Teachers are working alongside a ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated Secondary school in Enfield and are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join their vibrant School for a Part-time position starting in September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for an English Teacher who is eager to work at a school that provides varied opportunities that nurture their student's unique gifts and talents so that they can contribute to a stronger community and better society for all.

English Teacher - Role:

• English Teacher must possess strong knowledge of the curriculum.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Maintain a well-organized, tidy, and considerate classroom environment.
• Cultivate positive relationships with students, inspiring good behaviour, and a passion for learning.
• Cooperate with and support colleagues and additional classroom staff.
• Accurately assess and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Comply with and implement the school's policies and take part in their supportive educational ethos.

English Teacher - Requirements:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
• Recent mainstream school-based experience as an English Teacher.
• A relevant English-related degree is desirable.
