English Teacher
Job description
We are looking for a passionate and committed English Teacher to join a dynamic team at a wonderful school in Oxfordshire. You’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching that motivates students and helps them reach their full potential in English Language and Literature. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as English Teacher:
Teach engaging lessons across [Key Stage 3, 4, and 5]
Plan, assess, and adapt learning to meet a range of student needs
Contribute to curriculum development within the department
Support students’ academic and personal progress
Participate in wider school life, including extracurricular activities
Ideal English Teacher:
A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
A degree in English or a closely related field
Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills as an English Teacher.
Enthusiasm for creative, inclusive teaching
A collaborative and reflective approach to teaching and learning
