We are seeking an organised and experienced Exams Officer to join a supportive secondary school permanently, starting as soon as possible.

Duties as Exam Officer:

• Oversee the administration, organisation, and smooth running of internal and external examinations.

• Liaise with exam boards, staff, students, and parents to ensure compliance with regulations.

• Manage entries, timetables, seating plans, and exam arrangements.

• Coordinate access arrangements for students with additional needs.

• Recruit, train, and manage exam invigilators.

• Ensure secure storage and distribution of exam papers and materials.

• Provide accurate data and reports to senior leadership as required.

Ideal Exam Officer:

• Previous experience working as an Exams Officer (essential).

• Strong organisational and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong IT skills, particularly in data management systems and MS Office.

• Commitment to safeguarding and supporting the needs of all learners.
