Job description
We are seeking an organised and experienced Exams Officer to join a supportive secondary school permanently, starting as soon as possible.

Duties as Exam Officer:
Oversee the administration, organisation, and smooth running of internal and external examinations.
Liaise with exam boards, staff, students, and parents to ensure compliance with regulations.
Manage entries, timetables, seating plans, and exam arrangements.
Coordinate access arrangements for students with additional needs.
Recruit, train, and manage exam invigilators.
Ensure secure storage and distribution of exam papers and materials.
Provide accurate data and reports to senior leadership as required.
Ideal Exam Officer:
Previous experience working as an Exams Officer (essential).
Strong organisational and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong IT skills, particularly in data management systems and MS Office.
Commitment to safeguarding and supporting the needs of all learners.
