General Science Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable General Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school on a long-term temporary basis. The role will begin in December 2025 and continue until July 2026.

Duties as General Science Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging General Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes.
Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental activities.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement in line with school policies.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and support whole-school initiatives.
Ideal General Science Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics is welcome but not essential).
Strong classroom management and communication skills as a General Science Teacher.
A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and supporting student success.
Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a long-term temporary role.
