We are seeking a motivated and adaptable General Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school on a long-term temporary basis. The role will begin in December 2025 and continue until July 2026.

Duties as General Science Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging General Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes.

• Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.

• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental activities.

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement in line with school policies.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and support whole-school initiatives.

Ideal General Science Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.

• Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics is welcome but not essential).

• Strong classroom management and communication skills as a General Science Teacher.

• A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and supporting student success.

• Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a long-term temporary role.
