Job description

One of our partner schools in East London is currently recruiting for a Food Technology Teacher to cover a long-term supply position, starting in January 2019. The teacher appointed will join a dedicated and supportive team who enjoy motivating students, assisting them in making progress and improving their life chances and confidence. The position of a Food Technology Teacher is a full-time contract position through Step Teachers and would be suitable for an NQT.

  • As a qualified Food Technology teacher you will have qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Up to date knowledge of the National Curriculum is a pre-requisite for the role
  • Highly effective communication skills with both children and adults, including parents/carers are seen as a key area of focus
  • Experience of teaching classes with 30 pupils would be a definite advantage
