General Science Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic General Science Teacher to join a dedicated and supportive science faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator passionate about science to inspire curiosity and confidence in students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Beginning June 2025.
Duties as a General Science Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3 and KS4
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely feedback and support
Maintain high standards of behaviour and a positive learning environment
Contribute to curriculum planning, extra-curricular activities, and whole-school initiatives
Ideal General Science Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in a science-related subject
Strong subject knowledge across all three sciences at KS3 and GCSE level
A passion for engaging students in scientific thinking and practical work
Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills as a General Science Teacher.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
