KS1 Teacher
Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join primary schools across the Norwich area. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that nurture curiosity, creativity and a love of learning in pupils aged 5–7. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as a KS1 Teacher:
Plan, prepare and teach inspiring lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of mixed-ability groups, including pupils with SEND or EAL.
Track, assess and report on pupil progress, setting clear targets for improvement.
Foster a safe, stimulating classroom environment that supports personal and academic growth.
Work closely with colleagues, parents and carers to promote pupil wellbeing and achievement.
Contribute to wider school activities, trips and events.
Ideal KS1 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or recognised equivalent.
Experience teaching KS1 is desirable, but motivated ECTs are welcome.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as a KS1 Teacher.
Ability to inspire and engage young learners.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
