KS1 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing starting January 2026
These flexible opportunities are ideal for KS1 Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You will have the chance to work in a range of primary schools, supporting pupils’ learning and development while experiencing diverse teaching environments.
Duties as KS1 Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for KS1 pupils in line with the national curriculum
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and confidence
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and implement effective classroom management strategies
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required
Ideal KS1 Teacher:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies
- Previous experience teaching in a primary setting
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
