Maths Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary cover from April 2026 until July 2026

Pupils respond well to lessons that encourage curiosity, resilience, and strong engagement across the curriculum.
Duties as Maths Teacher:
- Teach Maths full time across relevant secondary year groups
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with curriculum expectations
- Support pupils’ progress in numeracy, reasoning, and problem‑solving
- Adapt teaching to meet varied learning needs and abilities
- Maintain consistent routines and positive behaviour in the classroom
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to departmental planning and collaborative practices
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Maths
- Confident teaching across KS3 and KS4
- Strong subject knowledge and secure classroom management skills
- Able to motivate learners of mixed abilities
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Proactive, reflective, and committed to high‑quality teaching
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
