Job description

This school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a friendly, supportive, and forward-thinking team. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the learning and development of pupils in the vital final years of primary school. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a KS2 Teacher:

 

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across the Key Stage 2 curriculum

  • Plan and assess work that meets the needs of all learners

  • Create an engaging and supportive classroom environment

  • Promote positive behaviour, resilience, and a love for learning

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil progress

  • Contribute to school life, including events, trips, and extracurricular activities

Ideal KS2 Teacher:

 

  • A qualified teacher (QTS) with a passion for Key Stage 2 education

  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective assessment strategies

  • A reflective and proactive teaching style

  • High expectations for all pupils, with a commitment to inclusive education

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a KS2 Teacher.

  • A team player willing to contribute to the wider school community
