Maths Instructor – Full-time, long-term temporary cover starting January 2026 and ongoing

Duties as Maths Instructor:

Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across all GCSE levels
Provide one-to-one tuition tailored to individual learner needs
Use pre-prepared resources and adapt them where necessary
Monitor and assess learner progress, providing constructive feedback
Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
Support learners with exam preparation and confidence building
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and best practice

Ideal Maths Instructor:

Experience teaching Maths at GCSE level is essential
Ability to deliver one-to-one lessons effectively
Strong subject knowledge and ability to inspire learners
Excellent organisational and classroom management skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
Relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience
