We are looking for a qualified Maths teacher to work in a large academy in Bury St Edmunds. This is a full-time position through Step Teachers and applications are welcome from ECT's as well as those with more experience. The role is due to commence in November and could lead to a permanent role.

You will see when you visit the School that they are passionate about what they do: getting the best out of every child whatever their abilities, interests, or ambitions. This is a place of work and a strong work ethic is demanded from staff and students alike.

  • You should have a teaching qualification.
  • The appointed Maths teacher should motivate, enthuse, excite, and challenge students to produce the highest quality work.
  • You will have schemes of work that are creative, varied, and flexible enough to promote differentiation and commitment to pupil progression.
  • Have experience working with students with behavioral issues.
