Maths Teacher with PRU Experience – Supply, Full-time or Part-time, Starting ASAP

These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings, including Pupil Referral Units (PRUs). You will be working with learners who require tailored support and a creative approach to teaching mathematics.

Duties as Maths Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons suited to individual learning needs
Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with behavioural and emotional challenges
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a positive learning environment
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
Collaborate with support staff and other professionals to ensure holistic pupil development
Maintain accurate records and adhere to safeguarding policies

Ideal Maths Teacher:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching maths within PRU or alternative provision settings
Strong classroom management skills and ability to build positive relationships
Flexible and resilient, with a commitment to inclusive education
Excellent communication and organisational skills
