Job description

Maths Teacher – Full-time, daily supply from as soon as possible
 
These flexible opportunities are ideal for Maths Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings in Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding areas.

Duties as Maths Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school expectations
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and support teams to meet pupil needs
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote a positive learning culture
  • Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times

Ideal Maths Teacher:

  • Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Has recent experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and adaptability
  • Is confident delivering the national curriculum and supporting varied learning needs
  • Has a clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
