Nursery Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant early years team on a long-term temporary basis. Starting as soon as possible.

Duties as Nursery Teaching Assistant:

• Support the class teacher in delivering a stimulating and nurturing learning environment.

• Assist with daily routines including play-based activities, outdoor learning and personal care.

• Work with small groups and individual children to promote early literacy, numeracy and social skills.

• Help to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming classroom.

Ideal Nursery Teaching Assistant:

• Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 childcare/early years qualification (or equivalent).

• Previous experience working with children aged 0–5 in a nursery or early years setting.

• A positive, flexible attitude and excellent communication skills as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.

• Up-to-date Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
