Step Teachers have been asked to recruit a Religious Education Teacher for a secondary school in Barnet. In the first instance, the role of the Religious Education Teacher will be on a supply basis that may lead into a long term role, You will need to be able to offer Religious Education to GCSE and A-Level.
As a Religious Education Teacher you will:
- Have a Degree Level Qualification + secondary PGCE or QTS Qualification for R.E teaching
- Be a creative and enthusiastic practitioner who is able to use all available resources to their full extent
- Having an ability to organise, lead and manage a classroom effectively, including assigned support staff will be central to your role
- Have a passion for your subject and the desire to inspire and motivate pupils to excel
Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK. Step Teachers are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
