Reception Year Teacher
Job description
We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Reception Year Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover contract. This role will commence in November 2025 and run through until the Easter holidays 2026.

Duties as a Reception Year Teacher:
Deliver engaging and creative lessons that support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
Create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged.
Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.
Use effective assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform planning.
Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pastoral care.
Ideal Reception Year:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience of teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
A strong understanding of EYFS curriculum, assessment, and child development.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Reception Year Teacher.
A passion for inspiring young learners and helping them thrive at the start of their educational journey.
