We are seeking an inspiring and thoughtful Religious Studies Teacher to join a committed team at a wonderfu school in Finchley. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a subject that fosters critical thinking, empathy and cultural understanding in an inclusive and reflective learning environment. Beginning May 2025.
Duties as a Religious Studies Teacher:
Teach Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4
Deliver engaging and balanced lessons that promote respect, discussion and deep thinking
Plan and assess in line with the curriculum, using a variety of resources and approaches
Contribute to the moral and spiritual development of pupils across the school
Support the wider life of the school, including assemblies, form time or enrichment activities
Ideal Religious Studies Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A strong academic background in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy or related discipline
Experience teaching RS/RE in a secondary school setting
A balanced, inclusive and reflective approach to teaching worldviews and ethics
Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills as a Religious Studies Teacher.
