Religious Studies Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary cover starting January 2026 and ongoing

Duties as Religious Studies Teacher:

Deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages
Plan and adapt resources to meet the needs of all learners
Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning space
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to departmental planning
Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times

Ideal Religious Studies Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Strong subject knowledge in Religious Studies
Ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Previous experience teaching Religious Studies in a secondary school setting is desirable
