Step Teachers are currently looking for a Secondary School Science Teacher in Wimbledon to start in September 2023. This is initially a long term supply, and at the discretion of the school, the contract may be extended. The role is full time teaching Science across all Key Stages. 

The position is at a Secondary school which takes pride in their academics and embraces individuals to strive in their work to build for their futures. This school is rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.

Role:

• Good knowledge of KS3 and KS4 
• Have experience of teaching Biology
• Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
• Maintain a well organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment
• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
• Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
• Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these

Requirements:

• Must Hold a QTS 
• Have recent mainstream school-base experience teaching Science at Secondary school level.
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
• SEND experience is desirable
