Job description

Do you have experience working with children who have ASD, PMLD and SEMH? I am currently looking for staff who are interested in working in one of my schools based in Croydon. This is a PRU school and easy to get to from all over London with excellent transport links.

Opportunities for academic, sporting, vocational and social growth are offered throughout the school. The school is one of the best at ensuring behaviours in and out of the classroom are at the highest standard possible and has an excellent track record of ensuring pupils achieve.

Starting from February, the school want to see an addition to the excellent team they currently work with. Your role will be to support the existing staff in assisting the teacher with the delivery of lesson plans across the class. You will also be required to support pupils with functional skill and help with activities ensuring that safeguarding is paramount in all circumstances. The school ensures that the children who progress and graduate from the school have the skills and self-belief to look after themselves, care for others, gain long-term employment and lead adult lives that hare happy and fulfilled.

The school wants someone to join them who can add value and make a positive impact on the children’s lives.

If you have worked with children in a school setting either paid or voluntary than this would be ideal for you. Please apply to get the process started.

  • Excellent CPD through Step Teachers

Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK.
