SEN Teaching Assistants and LSA’s urgently required for a range of permanent, fixed term contract and temporary roles!

We are looking to appoint committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join our SEN team in supporting more than 30 schools across West and South West London. The role of SEN Teaching Assistant is ideal for those who genuinely have a passion for helping children, particularly with learning difficulties, and also a fantastic opportunity for those considering a career in Teaching to gain valuable first-hand experience. SEN Teaching Assistants who are appointed will receive full support and training from colleagues and clients.

The main aim of an SEN Teaching Assistant is to support schools in delivering academic excellence, day in, day out, with professionalism and enthusiasm. Students will be across the 4-18 compulsory age range and will exhibit a wide range of learning difficulties including ADHD, ASD, Asperger’s, Downs Syndrome, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, GDD, Musculoskeletal disorders, ODD, Profound Neurological and Physiological disorders, SEMH and SEBD amongst others.

What are we looking for in you?

  • Our ideal candidate for SEN Teaching Assistant will have previous experience of working with young people, either in an academic setting or as a voluntary worker
  • You will be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Ideally you will have a CACHE Level 2 qualification or higher which is relevant to the role
  • You will be committed to personal learning and development, and have a sincere commitment to continuous improvement
  • In return, we offer competitive rates of pay, starting at £70 for Level 1 qualified candidates
